The Department of Neurosurgery, which is a referral center in Kerala for trauma, cold neurosurgery and spinal surgeries, has been functioning right from its innovation for the past 10 years. The department owns a fully-fledged operation theatre with state of the art equipments and accessories for invasive neurosurgery. We have 24 hours casualty services for handling all trauma cases, expert faculty and dedicated nursing staff.

A co-ordinated, multi-disciplinary approach to the care of adult and

paediatric patients with tumors of the nervous system as well as neurologic complications of cancer is done here.

Neurosurgical evaluation of neck and back pain, nerve compression syndromes, herniated intervertebral discs, and spinal cord compression syndrome is done along with a complete range of services for the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with neurological disorders.
